Amazing place with fantastic teachers! The staff are able to tailor the lesson to our daughter, and have always been spot on when having her learn new things, from the horse they paired her with, to how to introduce a new part of riding and care. We would recommend Rice's Horses to anyone who loves horses, or interested in trying something new!

Local family owned horse ranch. Really fair pricing for teaching and trail rides. One of the only places near PDX to do private guided trail rides for couples and small groups. I really loved the horses and staff. It was a fun day and the staff were so flexible and ready to do what we were wanting. They have a beautiful location too with trails that lead up to a state park. I really want to go back with my little nieces and nephews to have a horse party to teach them how to groom and care for horses. :)

Highly recommend the Rice Ranch family and horses! They have an absolutely beautiful property with friendly, safe horses and staff. Everyone is kind, welcoming, and makes your experience so special. We will be back!
