Please note that our instructors gratefully accept cash tips. Gratuity is not expected, but it's always appreciated. Lesson Cancellation Policy: Please do not come to your lesson if you are sick. Follow what you would do for school/work. Please stay home and get well if you have a fever, vomiting, etc. Please notify Rice's Horses at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson if you need to cancel for any reason (including illness or injury), request to switch lesson participate(s), change the number of riders, use the non-refundable lesson payment or gift certificate payment to reschedule the lesson or use the lesson payment for any horse service based on availability. For any cancellations for any reason (including illness or injury), no-show, or number of riders change within 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, payment and gift certificate payment is non-transferable and non-refundable. Requesting to switch lesson participate(s) within 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson does not apply. If Rice's Horses cancels your scheduled lesson(s) for any reason, lesson payment is transferable of any horse service based on availability. |

Horse camps
|
Your kid(s) will make special memories at our fun horse camps! They can bring a friend and make a 4-legged furry friend! Call the office at 503-320-7174 for more information about the camps for ages 7-11 on September 20th from 10am-1pm for only $135/kid and on October 18th from 1pm-4pm for only $135/kid.
LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE!! Here are some and/or all of the activities for each camp depending on the schedule:
Custom Camp Cancellation Policy: Please notify Rice's Horses at least 7 days prior to the scheduled camp if you need to cancel for any reason, request to switch camp participate(s) or change the number of riders to use 60% of the camp payment to reschedule for any horse service of the canceled rider(s) payment based on availability. For any cancellations, no-show, or number of riders change within 7 days prior to the scheduled camp, payment is non-transferable and non-refundable. Requesting to switch camp participate(s) within 7 days prior to the scheduled camp does not apply. If a guided trail ride is part of the scheduled camp and is canceled by Rice's Horses due to any reason, then the camp will only be indoor (as weather allows) arena riding along with the other planned activities. You can ride outside by the barn and pastures as weather allows and then back into our indoor riding arena with a fun obstacle course! If Rice's Horses cancels your scheduled camp for any reason and at any time, each scheduled rider(s) camp payment is transferable for any horse service based on availability. |

Inclement weather, Pricing and Payments

Please do not come to your scheduled ride, party etc. if you are sick. Follow what you would do for school/work. Please stay home and get well if you are sick with a fever, vomiting, etc. All deposits, meet and greet payments, 40% of gift certificate payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please notify Rice's Horses at least 7 days prior to your scheduled ride/party or meet and greet if you need to cancel for any reason (including illness, injury), request to switch rider(s), change the number of riders and the paid remaining balance is refundable. The remaining balance (includes 60% of gift certificate) is due upon arrival for your scheduled ride/party. For any cancellations for any reason (including illness, injury), no-shows or number of riders change within 7 days prior to your scheduled ride/party the full remaining balance is due upon arrival and 60% of gift certificate (when applicable) is charged. Requesting to switch rider(s) within 7 days prior to the scheduled ride/party does not apply. If you decide to cancel your guided trail ride because of the weather and the ride is still "a go", the full remaining balance is still due upon arrival. Requesting to switch rider(s) within 7 days prior to the scheduled ride/party does not apply. If Rice's Horses cancels your scheduled ride/party etc., for any reason, and at any time, the non-refundable deposit, meet and greet payment or the gift certificate payment is transferable for any future horse service based on availability. |
Riders and non-riders on Rice's Horses property need to sign a waiver. Rice's Horses may deny riding to any rider and/or spectator to be in the arena or barn without a completed waiver/liability release form on file.
Rice's Horses is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and emotionally grounded environment for all customers, guests, horses, staff and animals. We reserve the right to refuse service of any of our programs, services or events at our sole discretion. No refunds will be given at any time if service is refused if any of the rules (on the website, in text or in person) are not followed, inappropriate behavior (bullying, threatening, etc.), towards staff, guests, or horses. For everyone's safety, all guests (riders and non-riders) must be able to speak and understand English. We reserve the right to decline anyone the privilege to be on the property or to ride if any of the rules (on the website, in text or in person) are not followed for everyone's safety. We accept payments via PAyPal, Card, Cash app or cash. All rides and services require a deposit or paid in full before scheduled lesson, ride or party.
